Lunfardo Empanadas is the true taste of Argentine style gourmet cuisine, dedicated to the craft of making artisan empanadas, unique in Charleston Metro Area, South Carolina.
Cooking since 2018, when the three founders decided they wanted to bring a piece of their lovely birth country to South Carolina. It started small, very small, but a tasty good product and warm wholesome made our dream grow.
In 2022 we opened our first permanent location in Charleston Metro Area, SC and we’ve been lucky enough to keep growing since then.
An empanada, for Argentines, is so much more than a meal. It is part of our culture, the smell of childhood home. An empanada is the excuse to share a moment with family and friends. It is the ease of choosing a menu that everyone likes. An empanada is the multiplicity of customs and cultures of our birth country transformed into food.
